How to Overcome Barriers to Content Creation

Why are most organizations so bad at content? Here are a few common excuses:

  • Don’t have the time
  • Don’t have the people
  • Don’t know how to do it
  • Don’t have the knowledge or skills
  • Too old for new marketing techniques
  • We will have to work too hard
  • Don’t need it in our industry

These are self-imposed barriers that must be changed. If not, look for your competitors to take away market share through content marketing. Content marketing is continuing to grow and most Websites do not have the option to NOT get a content marketing strategy in place.

It starts by getting the right people involved as content marketers. Look for skilled flexible writers who can write for the Internet. College grads are realizing the importance of online publishing and writing. This skill set will be much more common in the coming years.
