Dealing with Negative Online Reviews

How to Deal with Negative Online Reviews

The Internet has become very interactive as people comment on social media Websites, Google Places, blogs and more. It is also very easy for information to spread via email, texting and other methods. However, this is not a reason to stay out of the discussion! It is all the more reason to get involved, respond to negative postings and take advantage of positive postings. The key is not in avoiding negative comments, but in how you respond to them.

The Internet is self-policing and weight is given to comments and how important they are to your brand. The solution is to have a solid strategy around Web comments and be actively involved in responding to Internet users as they communicate their feelings, good or bad, to you online. Also, keep in mind that no presence or the ability to comment sends a message to Web users.
