Smart Navigation Increases Page Views

Simple and Strategic Navigation Increases Page Views

There is a direct connection between the number of page views, time on the Website and the effectiveness of the Website in driving marketing results and sales. The key to making this happen is less navigation options and benefit-loaded Web pages. This is especially true in landing pages and for the main navigation menu. Fewer navigation options, that meet user needs, results in a greater interest in the Website content.

Set a goal of no more than nine main navigation items and three key points per landing page. Make these areas the most important parts of your Website. This will improve page views and drive results.

You can see an example of this approach on a new design we just launched for Saunas.com.
